It's been another bit of a hiatus again, hasn't it? I've not really been drawing a lot, and what I have is either un-postable or just mediocre in my eyes. On the plus side, I get to go through everything and do one mega-post of stuff I've done in a while.

Dardana, a half naga, half knucker *gasp* I like her design a lot, shame about having to censor so it doesn't get removed from the host.

Karri is... now, let me get this straight, quarter centaur, quarter unicorn and half dragon. How's that for a mixture? She looks too old in this picture, but I worked hard on the sketch, so up it goes.

I did this for fun because I wanted to.... I missed drawing my Khoren heh.

This is one of my best friend's characters, Raven in her old school uniform. I really really need to do more cell shading.... and inking... and drawing.... *rambles on*

I found a free limited demo of Artrage 2 on the dvd i get with my digital art magazine... I drooled and started to doodle! It's pretty cool really, I got into it right away and decided to try to make something with it. A few hours later, and this is what I have to show... It's definately my most finished lanscape that I've done with absolutely no references, and its one of those "wow.. I did that" pictures XD Click it to see it!

Again I've sort of slipped behind, but that's because I've not really been up to much...
The best thing I've finished recently is the most finished thing I've done in months, and I still like it.... sort of heh

Other than that, its really just been doodles and sketches for my own amusement heh heh. Doodles such as this...

Oh wow, I've got so behind here again.. Which is a shame because really I should be updating more often. But the truth is I've not been doing much or interest. At least not much that interests me heh. However, I am working on something , and until that gets finished, it has to be old art I'm afraid.

Hmmm, I was looking for the TOS to check what I was allowed to post.. but guess what, I couldn't find it.. I'm pretty sure I'm safe, but oh well. I'll take them down if someone proves to me they're not okay hah.

But first, we have the supposedly cute things. Usually I only do these to test clothes out, check colours or when I just cant be bothered doing anything involved heh heh.

But actually, I'd already done a couple of more involved ones before I got sleepy =P

Y'know.. sometimes I get too proud of the body to cover it up with more clothes XD, oh well it's only underwear, there's a lot worse on tv before the watershed.

Like this! D= She doesn't have a name yet, but this is the first serious photomanip I've done and I do like it.. I'll need to do some more, it was fun.

I also got prodded into trying another landscape, and again, it was a lot more fun than I thought it'd be, and it was cool doing something different. Especially something so loose and eh.. "painterly"? heh I hope so anyway..

I'm sure I'll be doing more soon, so keep checking back.

Well, here we are again, commentless and barren D= It's fun talking to yourself, you have so much in common with the other party....... anyway.

I'm trying to get away from my usual, this happens a lot and usually fizzles out after a little while, but for now! Here's something I doodled last night, please do no mock me, for I'm still not very much use as any sort of landscape.

I was messing with it post-scanning and I ended up with two versions that i couldnt decide between, ho hum.

At least I'm trying, eh?

I have a couple of new things. It's amazing, I was actually productive for once.

This is Levi.. a second generation escapee demon from Hell (duh heh). He's a record breaker in my list of characters as the one with the most peircings, all 26 of them ^^; all of which he did himself. Currently living in a broken down old shack outside the city, he plans to try to get a band together and claw his way up the ladder into stardom someday. Click it please!

And of course, I have to have the little 'cute' one too.. always feel safer colouring the smaller ones, but I did end up liking it so that's okay, huh? Cleek ze peekture!

Oh yo ho, hello there!

If there's one thing I love (and there is a lot more than one), it's getting an inside joke. I had an inkling that I did for a while, but last night after accidently happening to find "Dogma" on the tv, I knew for sure. I love that film, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, and one reason is because one of my personal loves are Angels, Demons, and general mythology from any country I can find it. I like the fact that I know about Azrael from my books, and that I knew who 'the morning star' was when he was mentioned.
I just drool over 'American Gods' by Neil Gaiman. and the Sandman series, because I get to figure out the clues along the way and feel good when I can say "I knew who that was from page 139" with a smug look. A little bit of mythology taken on a slightly different route will never cease to make me squee. And that's a good thing.

Again, as I've not even picked up a pencil or my graphics tab pen in a while, I need to resort to the old stuff that I still like somewhat. This was something I'd done when I was in a bit of a block, with painter 9 when I still had the demo *sob*. I still like it somewhat because of the colours and the light and because it looks sketchy still.

Well this one I still like.. people make up their own story for who these two could be to each other and that's always fun to hear =3 This is markers on watercolour paper.

I'm not sure why I like this one, maybe because I tried to do something different and it actually turned out okay.. The person in it is me *gasp*

I'm going to try to get something new done soon, wish me luck.

My poor blog isn't quite dead.. it's just been in a coma for a few months >>. I'm going to try my utmost to post... I would say more regularly, but since I havent really posted at all, then I have no right to say that hah.

I'm going to try my best for my good friend Karrey, and even though she's mega busy and stressed out, she still talks to me! And her saying that she was disappointed that my blog was dead made me want to try to give it some love and care.

So here we go!

This is Niabi... He (yes he.. ) is part antelope, part bobcat, part.. magical creature thing.. hah.. the wings would be seethrough but shine different colours like oil. I like him *gasp*

This on the other hand is Riff... a humanized Gryphon. She's a total ditz really.. but she's fun. She's the best female I've drawn in a while, so I'm happy with her ^^.

I think two is okay to be going on with, but I'll be going through my files to see what I can salvage. *waves*
